The Hoi An My Son Boat Trip begins with a pick-up from your hotel by a bus and tour guide between 7:30-8:00am. The journey to My Son HolyLand, which is situated 48km west of Hoi An, commences at around 8:30am. On arrival at My Son, visitors are welcomed by the Old Tower of the Cham, which is part of the huge religious complex built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadravaman.
Tourists can spend 2 hours exploring and admiring the beauty of the ancient buildings of the Champa Kingdom with the assistance of a knowledgeable tour guide. The complex comprises over 70 towers and temples that exhibit different architectures and elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people.
Afterwards, at around noon, visitors will leave My Son for the boat station and take a boat trip along the Thu Bon river. The journey provides an opportunity to experience the local culture and witness the living of the local people while enjoying fresh air and beautiful views along the river. Soft lunch will be served on the boat as well.
The boat trip concludes at Bach Dang Boat Station at around 1:30pm, signifying the end of the tour.
